What this means is that the prices of these tools are hard to compare as Actionetics has much more features as it comes with additional software.

So here it really depends on the goal you have with email marketing. I worked with both tools and I believe that it is very easy with both tools to create autoresponders or email broadcasts.

What this means is that I maybe want to have a different autoresponder series to people who open all my emails than to people who never open my emails.

In addition, I maybe want to set up another autoresponder for buyers than for non-buyers. If you want to have advanced email automation both tools are very different so let’s have a look at it.

With the help of Aweber, you can create automated workflows so you can, for example, resend emails that haven’t been opened the first time. However, if you want to change the workflow depending on purchases your contacts have made Aweber can’t help you.

That’s when Actionetics comes in. With Actionetics you can easily create email automation workflows depending on purchases your contacts made, on which step of your funnel they are, how they responded to your emails etc.

With AWeber, you can easily create web forms which can be integrated into your WordPress website. You can place them for example on the sidebar or integrate them into your article.

With the help of the ClickFunnels WordPress plugin, you can easily integrate your landing pages into your WordPress website. However, it is not possible to create small opt-in boxes for your sidebar.

Landing Page Integration

The heart of every email marketing campaign is a landing page to capture your leads. AWeber doesn’t have a landing page creator but it offers an integration to every any landing page creator I know. You can even integrate AWeber into ClickFunnels if you want to!

As I already mentioned, Actionetics works seamlessly together with ClickFunnels. However, it is not possible to use Actionetics together with other landing page creators but I think that shouldn’t be a problem as you can use ClickFunnels

As you can see, both tools offer highly user-friendly interface and all the basic features every email marketer needs. However, if you want to create advanced email marketing automations Actionetics is the more advanced tool.

And that all comes with a bigger price than for Aweber. If you have a small blog and you want to add email marketing I would recommend using Aweber. If you are a business owner and you want to use advanced email marketing I can recommend using Actionetics together with ClickFunnels!
